Description:
Topcon’s CL-200 replaces subjective surfacing targets with a Hartmann array and green 546 nm LED, delivering ±0.01 D precision on single-vision, bifocal and progressive lenses. Simply rest the eyewear on the soft-touch nosepiece: alignment dots appear on the 3.7-in color LCD, guiding centering within seconds. The instrument measures –25 D to +25 D sphere, 0–±10 D cylinder, prism up to 15 Δ and automatically computes add power. A built-in UV sensor reports 0–100 % transmission for upsell conversations, and a thermal printer or RS-232 port outputs prescriptions to EMR. Continuous-mode speeds up high-volume optical labs by reading the next lens the instant pattern recognition stabilizes. The compact body (6.9 × 7.9 × 13.0 in) weighs 3.5 lb and runs fan-less on a 100–240 V supply, keeping counters quiet.
