Weekly and monthly self-tests feed a four-icon readiness display, and the dual-layer SafeGuard™ power system pairs an internal rechargeable cell with the field-replaceable CHARGE-PAK lithium charger so the unit emerges from a closet or cabinet ready to deliver up to 30 shocks after two years on standby. Data from each event—ECG, timestamps and device actions—stores internally and can be off-loaded wirelessly or via IrDA for QA and registry reporting.
