About the Meiji ML2000 Binocular
Description:
Meiji’s ML2000 pairs DIN achromatic optics with a full Kohler 6 V 30 W halogen illumination system. A wide-field 10 ×/18 mm eyepiece set, quadruple nose-piece (4 ×, 10 ×, 40 ×, 100 × oil) and low-profile mechanical stage give researchers crisp, flat-field images from 40 × to 1000 × without needing infinity-corrected glass. Coarse/fine coaxial focus (0.002 mm gradations) and a sturdy cast-alloy frame keep the unit vibration-free for photomicroscopy or routine slide screening.
Economic Advantage:
Compared with big-brand infinity systems, the ML2000 delivers similar optical quality at roughly half the capital cost; its standard incandescent lamp and DIN objectives let labs swap components cheaply and avoid the proprietary pricing that often follows higher-end platforms.
