About the Pfaff Creative 7570 Computerized

Description:

The Creative 7570 was Pfaff’s flagship before production left Germany, marrying an industrial rotary hook to home-sewing ergonomics. It offers 229 built-in decorative stitches plus block, script and Cyrillic alphabets—over 500 patterns when every mirror and elongation variant is counted. Stitch width reaches 9 mm and, in multidirectional “Maxi” mode, ornamental motifs extend to 60 mm, thanks to a feed system that steers fabric in four axes. Integrated Dual Feed (IDT) drives layers from top and bottom, eliminating shear on slippery knits. Pop the optional embroidery module onto the rear port and the 7570 sews 4.5 × 6.7 in designs at up to 800 stitches min⁻¹, loading motifs from plug-in Creative cards or the machine’s 32 pattern memories (85 motifs each). A back-lit LCD shows stitch graphics and settings, while soft-touch keys recall needle positions, taper angles and tie-off sequences. Despite a cast-aluminum body weighing 25 lb, the free-arm throat is lit by a replaceable 15 W bayonet bulb, and all electronics accept 100–240 V with a simple motor-pulley change.

Economic Advantage:

Owners of the 7570 gained a single chassis that hemmed denim at 6 mm stitches, free-motion quilted with IDT and stitched 800-spm embroidery—tasks that otherwise required separate flat-bed, walking-foot and stand-alone embroidery machines. Its metal rotary hook runs oil-free for years, and resale values remain near 40 % of MSRP two decades later, making lifetime cost per stitch among the lowest of any ‘90s prosumer model.
