Bio-Rad’s C1000 Touch equipped with the Dual 48 / 48 Fast Reaction Module lets you run two completely different PCR programs at once in a single bay. Each 48-well aluminum block accepts either 0.2 mL tubes or a 48-well plate and is gradient-enabled across 1 – 24 °C, allowing rapid protocol optimisation while the neighbouring block carries out a routine assay. A Peltier engine drives ramp rates up to 5 °C s⁻¹ (3.3 °C s⁻¹ average) and holds ±0.2 °C accuracy at 90 °C. The 6.5-in colour touchscreen makes step- or graphical-programming quick, and the USB port lets you run stand-alone with a flash drive. Six interchangeable blocks (384-well, deep-well, etc.) swap in seconds without tools, future-proofing the platform when throughput needs change.
