About the Air Techniques A/T 2000 XR

Description:

The A/T 2000 XR is a fully automatic, microcomputer-controlled processor that handles every dental film format—Panoramic, Cephalometric, TMJ, Occlusal and all Intraorals—at two selectable speeds: a 2.5-minute “Quick-Look” cycle for rapid previews and a 5.5-minute normal cycle for archival-quality results. A heater-pad/thermistor system holds chemistry at 82 °F for optimum development, while automatic replenishment pumps meter developer and fixer precisely to maintain strength. After each film exits, the unit reverts to an energy-saving standby mode, reducing electricity, water use and wear. Optional daylight loaders eliminate darkroom needs.

Economic Advantage:

Before the A/T 2000 XR, dental practices juggled darkroom timing, manual replenishment and batch processing. By automating chemistry metering, temperature control and cycle timing—plus offering a rapid-preview option—the 2000 XR slashes processing time, minimizes chemical waste and water consumption, and frees staff from darkroom duties. Its standby-mode energy savings and low-maintenance design deliver a lower total cost of ownership and accelerated ROI compared to legacy manual or single-speed processors.
