The Vista Basic is a linear-peristaltic large-volume pump that delivers parenteral or enteral fluids from 0.1 mL hr⁻¹ to 800 mL hr⁻¹ in 0.1 mL increments. Three core modes—Continuous, Program (nine sequential steps), and Ramp/Taper—cover everything from maintenance crystalloids to TPN titrations. A membrane-sealed keypad resists disinfectants, and the backlit LCD shows rate, VTBI, and pressure in plain language. Down-stream occlusion limits are user-selectable at 8 psi (low) or 17 psi (high); alarms also monitor air-in-line, empty bag, and low battery.
