Programming is menu-driven with context-sensitive help screens, quick-repeat bolus and user-audit trails. The pump runs on two “C” alkaline batteries (≈ 24 h runtime), can pole-mount or stow in a soft-carry pack, and automatically clamps the tubing when the door opens to prevent free flow—all in a 17.5 oz, 5.1″ × 4.0″ × 2.5″ chassis.
