About the Abbott Hospira Micro Macro Plum XL
Description:
Plum XL combines two independent channels plus a shared piggyback line in one 8.75-in cube. Each channel runs micro-mode (0.1 – 99.9 mL h⁻¹) or macro (1 – 1 999 mL h⁻¹) with ±5 % accuracy, and automatic anti-free-flow valves lock when the cassette door opens. A bright electroluminescent screen shows rate, VTBI and pressures, while the Pure-Vu air-trap clears 3 mL bubbles without disconnecting. DoseCalc converts weight-based orders directly, and the pump logs 1 000 events for CQI. Hot-swappable batteries power eight hours at 125 mL h⁻¹.
