About the BioTek BIOSTACK Automated
Description:
BIOSTACK links via a fast Z-lift and rotating gripper to BioTek readers, washers or imagers. Exchange time is ~10 s, and removable cassettes (10, 30 or 50 plates) plus optional delidding give fully walk-away ELISA or cell-imaging workflows from 6- to 1536-well formats.
Economic Advantage:
For labs that already owned BioTek instruments, BIOSTACK added true automation for < US$15 k—far cheaper than robotic arms or carousels—while preserving the small biosafety-cabinet footprint.
