The second-generation Midmark / Ritter M11 UltraClave is a fully self-contained countertop steam autoclave that marries a spacious 11-inch-diameter, 18-inch-deep chamber (6.5 gal usable volume) with one-button automation. A back-lit LCD and four pre-programmed keys (Unwrapped, Pouches, Packs / Low Temp, Handpieces) manage fill, Steam-Flush Pressure-Pulse (SFPP) air removal, exposure and automatic door-pop drying, while cycle variables can still be edited for specialty loads. The micro-processor halts operation for low water or an unlatched door, logs fault codes, and can output full-cycle data to the optional USB or printer. Because SFPP purges air by pressure pulsation, the M11 achieves Class B-level air removal without a vacuum pump, keeping service simple. A 1.425 kW immersion heater drives the process, and the door opens quietly at the end of dry to vent steam and speed cool-down. All plumbing, a 1.4-gal reservoir and a 5,000 BTU/hr condenser coil live inside the powder-coated 100-lb chassis, so installation is literally “set it, plug it, add distilled water.”
