A front-panel selector (Fill ▸ Sterilize ▸ Vent) manages the 4-quart integral reservoir, while a 60-minute timer, dual temperature/pressure gauges and a four-point, safety-interlocked door keep cycles simple and secure. Triple 1 600 W heaters bring the load from cold to 250 °F in about 12 minutes, then hold a calibrated 270 °F set-point; an ASME E-type valve caps chamber pressure at 35 psi.
