Thermo’s Type 37900 Series incubators provide gentle, draft-free culture conditions in a shoebox-sized footprint. Double-walled, powder-coated steel panels sandwich 2-in fiberglass insulation, while a polished aluminum interior and perforated shelf promote even gravity convection without the vibration of a fan. A bimetallic thermostat spans 32 °F above ambient to 122 °F (0 – 50 °C) and holds ±1 °F once stabilized; an LED cycle light indicates heater duty. The 0.8-ft³ chamber (12 × 12 × 9 in) accommodates two adjustable chrome shelves and 2-L flasks upright. A front rocker powers the 50 W heater; model I37925 runs on 120 V 0.42 A, whereas I37920-26 accepts 220 V 0.32 A for global sites. At just 20 lb, the incubator moves easily between benchtop and cold-room carts, and a corrosion-resistant door latch seals tight for CO₂ pass-through experiments. Removable shelves and a built-in drip trough simplify bleach wipe-downs between cell lines.
