Description:
The 2310 holds 56 L (2 cu ft) in a copper-lined chamber heated uniformly by a 9.5 gal water jacket. A thermal-conductivity sensor and PID loop maintain 0–20 % CO₂ with ±0.25 % uniformity, while a secondary cut-out guards against 140 °F over-temperature.
Economic Advantage:
Water-jacketed stability (±0.18 °F at 98.6 °F) let researchers grow pH-sensitive mammalian lines without costly buffered media, and its small footprint fit cramped hoods where large 6.5 ft³ units could not.
