About the ZOLL M Series Biphasic 3 Lead
Description:
The M Series squeezes rectilinear biphasic defibrillation, demand pacing, SpO₂, NIBP and AED advisory mode into a housing half the volume of earlier field units. Charge to 200 J takes < 7 s, and Smart Step™ escalation adheres to ACLS without button gymnastics. ZOLL’s “See-Thru CPR” filter shows underlying rhythm during compressions, shortening pulse checks. The daylight-visible LCD displays three traces, numeric vitals and paddle icons, while a back-lit membrane keypad works under drapes. One sealed Li-ion battery powers >120 shocks or four hours of monitoring; it recharges in-unit from 100–240 V AC or a 12 V squad car mount. A daily automatic self-test logs battery capacity, cable continuity and waveform accuracy for Code-Net review.
